Personal Boxing Lessons


Boxing is both an aerobic and anaerobic sport. Using a combination of Plyometrics, Strength Training, Aerobic Conditioning & Self defense. When boxing, you not only burn fat; but you will increase muscle and in turn your metabolic rate. After personal training you will be able to work out in any boxing gym.

Whether you are an athlete looking to cross train or a newcomer looking to get in shape, we feel it is important to have a plan that you can stick with long-term in order to acheive your fitness goals and a healthy boxing workout is a fun ever changing way to do it. This is an extremely vigorous workout however; the intensity is adjusted to suit the client’s fitness level.

All personal training sessions are by appointment.

We have a Competition size boxing ring, heavy bags, speed bags, free weights, and mirrors. We have clean changing rooms so you can shower and return to work.

Train with registered/certified level I & II USA coaches

Our coaches are certified thru USA Boxing. USA Boxing certification requires seminars, clinics and continued education in the areas of nutrition, sports medicine, injuries, training methods and boxing techniques. Our experience assures that customer satisfaction is guaranteed!

Boxing reduces stress! Recent studies completed at Bishop University suggest that, "Aggressive exercises like boxing are more likely to reduce stress than traditional or non aggressive exercises." The study also noted that, "Aggressive exercises exhibit, more self assertive behaviors than those non aggressive forms of calorie burning."

Most all experts agree that stress responses originate in the "fight or flight" mechanism of the brain. Personal training clients learn self-defense by developing positive physical reactions to their fight or flight responses. Learning boxing by personal training allows the client to actually be in a fight scenario without having to compete. By learning boxing, clients realize that they are less intimidated in uncomfortable situations. They now may enjoy a greater degree of personal mobility and fitness.

Our personal training cliental includes many types of people. Sedimentary professionals, frustrated athletes who haven’t had enough, housewives, and even celebrities like Bob Dylan train with us when they’re in town.

Rates.

Monthly rate $240.00 includes; 5 (five) personal training sessions, open gym during regular business hours and a pair of hand wraps. Clients will have access to the gym at any time during gym hours for the month. All sessions are one on one with the exception of some interactive training. Advance payment required. Individual sessions are available for $ 60.00 per hour. 24-hour cancellation in advance unless authorized by management.
